Bloomfield Goes Back to School

The adorable Sam Lewis and Greco kids started the new school year today in Bloomfield. Check out Sally Streeter’s slideshow below to see older Bloomfield kids going back to school:

“It’s A Great Day To be A Bengal!”  The slogan greeted students to Bloomfield HS’s  2013-2014 school year.  The Scarlet and Gray athletic season begins with Bengals Football. The first game,  September 13  vs Irvington is at Foley Field. The season finale, the big rivalry, Bloomfield vs Montclair, will be played on November 27th on Bengal turf.

Students carried books, sports gear, art supplies and  musical instrument for their first day of classes.  Many  arrived by bus or were dropped off by car. Those walking to the building on this sunny morning,  passed by or through Bloomfield’s  Historic Town Green.

The bell rang at 7:35 am.  A great day to be a Bengal!

I was assigned to chimney security today at middle school in the State of Washington, to prevent Betsy DeVoss from trying to climb in that way when she couldn't get in the front door. Protesters abounded below while I rode shotgun on the roof. We're with Montclair all the way. Glad you're here MontClairVoyant!
