Montclair Bird Club member Alex Bernzweig will kick off the 2013-2014 season with a program on the wildlife of the tropics tomorrow evening.

“Introduction to the Tropics” is based upon several excursions to middle and South America and will  highlight various reptiles, insects, and birds which can be encountered there. Alex Bernzweig is a lifelong MBC member, enthusiastic birder and amateur naturalist with a particular interest in reptiles and amphibians. In recent years he has taken numerous trips to the humid lowlands of Costa Rica and Peru, which harbor some of the most colorful and fascinating species on Earth.
