MSU’s George Segal Gallery Posts Call for Artists

MSU art connections 10

Montclair State University Art Galleries has issued a call for artists to submit their work to be considered for Art Connections 10, the annual fundraising event for the university’s George Segal Gallery. Those selected will be included in the exhibition and sale scheduled to run from January 26 to February 22, 2014, and be seen by curators, gallery owners, art dealers, collectors, and patrons and supporters of the arts from the metropolitan region and beyond.

Artists may submit work in any media as JPEG images on a CD. More rules and instructions for submissions are available here, and the postmark deadline is September 20.

The George Segal Gallery, located on the MSU campus adjacent to the Alexander Kasser Theater, is a 7,200-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility, open since 2006. It houses the permanent collection of works by well-known artist George Segal and other 20th-and 21st-century artists. The gallery has been the recipient of the Citation of Excellence from the NJ State Arts Council for three consecutive years.
