The Montclair Education Association (MEA), in partnership with the New Jersey Education Association,will sponsor its first Town Hall Public Meeting on Wednesday, October 30 at Montclair Art Museum.
Dr. Walter C. Farrell, Jr., Ph.D., M.S.P.H., will be the guest speaker of the topic: The Assault on Public Education and Public Services: A New Jersey Case Study. Farrell is a Professor, School of Social Work University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
MEA President Gayl Shepard says, “Dr. Walter Farrell came to the MEA through our association with the New Jersey Education Association. He is one of the foremost authorities on public education in particular and the state of public workers in general. We are excited that he will be sharing his knowledge with the greater Montclair community.”
