Parenting Workshop

Playhouse Cooperative Nursery School will host a Parenting workshop on raising an emotionally intelligent child on Sunday, March 2.

Every parent knows the importance of equipping children with the intellectual skills they need to succeed in school and life. But children also need to master their emotions.

Dr. Maurice Elias, Professor of Psychology at Rutgers University and author of Emotionally Intelligent Parenting and Talking Treasure: Stories to Help Build Emotional Intelligence and Resilience in Young Children, will guide us through a practical workshop on how to sharpen your child’s emotional intelligence and help him or her enjoy increased self-confidence, greater physical health, better performance in school, and healthier social relationships.
