Where do you live? In a Carriage House in Upper Montclair
When did you move there? Four years ago
Where did you grow up? Bridgeton, NJ
How do you make a living? I run a fashion design agency called Mocha Projects that provides a variety of design services to fashion clients domestically and internationally. My clients range from large fashion houses to ethical fashion companies and start-ups. I’m also honored to work some of the most talented designers in the industry.
Coffee, tea or … ? Coffee
What’s your idea of a perfect Saturday? Waking up early and spending time with my daughters, taking a yoga class or having a swim, shopping the eclectic mix of antique stores in town and then taking a quick jaunt into the city to enjoy a nice meal with a friend or my boyfriend.
What’s your favorite local restaurant? I like Toro in Upper Montclair as it’s in my hood and the staff knows me and my daughters. I tend to like the quieter places in town as I have more of a social life in New York City.
What’s on your nightstand? An eclectic mix of books all being read at once and my iPhone
Your iPod? Everything from old school hip hop to classical music
What are your current addictions? I seem to have a lot of them! art, shoes, junk jewelry, hot yoga, travel, Pinterest
Talent you would most like to have. I’d like to be able to fly!
What’s the worst-kept secret about Montclair? There are too many to name! Mainly the amazing public school system, the diverse community and the beautiful parks and cultural centers
What do you hope they say about you at your funeral? She was passionate, creative, loyal and loving.
