Former Tick Tock Diner Manager Charged In Murder-for-Hire Pleads Guilty

Tick Tock DinerGeorgios Spyropoulos, former manager of the Tick Tock Diner in Clifton, plead guilty today to hiring a hit man to kill his uncle, a co-owner of the diner, and dispose of the body, the Star Ledger reports.

Spyropoulos’ attorney, Anthony Pope [yes, the same Anthony Pope who is pals with Joe Piscopo, and the same Joe Piscopo whose concert tonight with The Infernos and fireworks have been rescheduled (again) to Thursday, July 24 at Brookdale Park due to inclement weather.] tells the Star Ledger that State Superior Court Judge Donald Volkert of Passaic County has agreed to sentence his client to an 8-year term.

“He’s [Spyropoulos] devastated by it,” Pope said. “He’s a man with no prior record.”

You got to be kidding me….he hired someone to take another life, deprive that person of liberty and happiness along with anyone close to that person for his own gain. And he’s upset at ONLY 8 years…sorry…but it’s to lenient in mho.
