Jazz fans of all ages filled Nishuane park to enjoy the sounds of Big Band, Afro Latin, Philly Soul and much more at the Montclair Jazz Festival.
The audience brought lawn chairs or spread blankets, they brought picnic lunches or bought food from a wide variety of vendors and families brought their kids to experience an afternoon of fun.
Kids activities were plentiful including face painting, balloon art and costumed characters. A children’s tent offered craft projects and a special presentation from “Drums Around The World” under the direction of Victor Ector.
The Montclair Art Museum sent their Art Truck and artist Stan Fenelon with the Bird Sculpture created by more than 300 children throughout Northern, NJ. Kids were encouraged to add to the stunning piece.
