katz and dogsOn Saturday, September 20, 2014, Katz & Dogs Animal Hospital will be teaming up with The Homeless Animal Adoption League (HAAL), PAWS, Montclair Animal Shelter, Kitty Krusade and The Angels for Animals Rescue League for a community pet adoption event aimed at helping cats find lifelong, loving homes.

“This is the third annual adoption event for Katz & Dogs Animal Hospital,” says Nancy Katz, veterinarian and owner of the Katz & Dogs Animal Hospital. “There will be curious kittens and still spunky young toddlers and we of course cannot forget our beautiful mature adults who still have so much love to give.”

Cats of all ages and personality types await the perfect home. Katz & Dogs was certified in 2012 as one of only two ‘Cat Friendly Practices’ in New Jersey, as certified by the American Association of Feline Practitioners.

The event runs from 12:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Saturday, September 20th and is open to the public. Donations of food and litter would be greatly appreciated as well.

“All funds raised during the Pet Adoption Day will be divided equally among the five participating rescue centers. And, if you’re thinking of getting a cat the Pet Adoption Day at Katz & Dogs Animal Hospital is a great time to find one and support a much needed cause,” says Katz.

A raffle with all proceeds going to benefit homeless pets includes these prizes: GOPRO Camera, a $200.00 / 7 for All Mankind Gift Card, a $100.00 Nike Gift Card, and a 2014 Complete Set of Topps Baseball Cards.

  1. Yea for Katz & Dogs!!! Please spread the word far and wide. By supporting this coalition of animal welfare groups, Nancy Katz models for all of us the power of collaboration in our often splintered daily lives. I volunteer regularly at our local shelter and hope to be helping there this Saturday. So many wonderful cats who need to get out of cages and into a loving home! Share this please. Thanks, everyone at Katz & Dogs! Meow…:-)
