It’s the most wonderful time of the year! A season of giving (and receiving). But sometimes choosing, or giving, the perfect gift can be difficult. I’ve been a naughty girl this year, and we naughty girls usually get jewelry…as the saying goes. However, I bought myself a most wonderful gift which was delivered today in time for Thanksgiving, and will be much used during the holiday season
This amazing dining room set is huge and heavy, with six chairs and long table. The detail on the table legs and chairs is amazing. I named this set “Dorothy” because it belongs to my friend Dan Mooney, one of the owners of Accents With Flowers on Church Street. It was his late mother’s (Dorothy) dining room set from 35 years ago. He drove it back home to Montclair from Florida after inheriting it. It’s in wonderful condition with memories that will last for decades. As our family continues to grow, we need more space for celebratory dinners.The glitter on the tabletop and chairs could only have been supplied by Dan & his partner Jeff.
