Incident: Theft
Description: Officer Charles Roberts was dispatched to Adams Pl. on a report of a theft. The complainant reported that some jewelry was missing and it is believed that a house guest took it. The matter is under investigation.

Incident: DWI Arrest
Description: Officer Brendan Sim arrested Maureen McGuire, 59 of Montclair, N.J. for driving while intoxicated on Bay Ave. She was transported to headquarters for processing and later released.

Incident: Aggravated Assault/Resisting Arrest
While on patrol Sgt. Daniel Manley and Officer Brendan Sim observed a suspicious vehicle on Highland Ave. While investigating the occupants of the vehicle, the passenger was refusing to cooperate; finally she went to give her identification and while doing so, struck Officer Sim in the hand. After striking the officer she became combative and struggling as officers informed her she was under arrest for assault on a police officer. Latwana White, 30 of Glen Ridge, N.J. was arrested and transported to headquarters for processing, where she was charged and held on $5,000 bail. Officer Sim suffered minor injury to his hand and no medical treatment was necessary.

Incident: Warrant Arrest
Officer Brendan Sim Arrested Shaquana Floyd, 27 of Paterson, N.J. for traffic warrant on Belleville Ave. She was transported to headquarters for processing and released.

Incident: Theft
Officer Nicholas Salerno was dispatched to Rudd Ct. on a report of a theft. The victim reported that sometime during the day unknown suspect(s) stole packages from the front porch. Anyone with information can contact Det. Michael medico at 973-748-5400 X120.

During this week the Glen Ridge Police Department investigated (6) motor vehicle accidents which resulted in no injuries.
