Montclair High SVPA Presents “All The Ever Afters,” A Fairytale Showcase

Finding happily ever after is the guiding spirit behind “All the Ever Afters,” this year’s Montclair High School Visual and Performing Arts (SVPA) 2015 Showcase where a girl, a prince, a witch, and a runaway are some of the characters taking you on a magical, musical journey.

Prepare to be swept away by what you will see and hear because the level of talent these students possess is inspiring (you may even catch a glimpse of a future Broadway star — a recent SVPA graduate Collin Kelly-Sordelet, just made his Broadway debut in Sting’s The Last Ship).

“All the Ever Afters”, directed by Corey Rubel and choreographed by Joseph Tudor, showcases 27 MHS student actors, supported by a student band (led by musical director Ken Horn) and a student tech crew. You’ll be treated to big, bold dance numbers mixed in with more intimate solos and duets. Listen for familiar blockbusters as well as favorites from classic Broadway as well as hip-hop, 70s disco, 80s pop, and more. Grab the kids, bring your friends, or come with a neighbor for an irreverent night of singing, dancing and acting.
