Here’s a story of a good Samaritan who is going above and beyond the call of duty. We met John and this little guy on North Mountain Ave, between Berkley and Club, a few minutes ago. He stopped his minivan and asked if this was my dog. His wife Janet found the dog wandering on Upper Mountain Ave around 6pm this evening. “He was a little dirty, so my wife gave her (or him?) a bath,” John told me.
“I’ve been driving around and asking people if they know who this dog might belong to. I’m sure the owner is worried, and the animal shelter is not open until tomorrow.”
