A special program on birds of the night will be presented at the Montclair Bird Club meeting on Wednesday, May 13 at the Union Congregational Church in Montclair.

Pete Bacinski, one of New Jersey’s leading field birders, will present this program on special species of New Jersey who begin their daily activities just when other birds are stopping for the night. Learn about our treasured owls, nightjars and their natural history, where to find them , and interesting facts about these secretive and amazing avian creatures that seem to fascinate us all. The program features excellent images of all of the birds.

I'm struck by how much attention is being paid to the details of a parking lot, as opposed to the attention paid to the future impact of the monstrous projects being planned.
