Tierney’s Tavern Music Festival Turns Two

Tierney’s Tavern of Montclair celebrated 81 years of business yesterday with their 2nd Annual Music Festival and a Family Fun Day. There was a dunk tank, games of skill, craft vendors, a beer truck and lots of food booths from local restaurants.

The biggest draw was the music. Three stages served up the sounds of Rock, Jazz, Reggae, Pop, Blue Grass, Punk and more. Photographed on the outside Hill Stage is Brave New Girl, a staple of the NYC music scene since the 1990s.

Captured on The Swede Stage (inside downstairs) is the group Thomas Wesley Stern, playing original folk music. The Finnegan Stage (inside upstairs) opened after 4 p.m. and offered continuous performances until 11 p.m.
