On Saturday, the Glen Ridge Public Library (240 Ridgewood Avenue, Glen Ridge) will host an interactive book-reading with author Betty Larrea at 11:00 AM. The book, Lucinda’s Magical Yoga Adventure, takes children through a variety of poses as they pretend to be the animals and characters they meet in the story. After the reading, join Ms. Larrea for a meet and greet and book signing. This event is recommended for children ages 2-9 and their families.

The Reeves-Reed Arboretum (165 Hobart Avenue, Summit) hosts a drop in Discovery Saturday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM each Saturday. This week’s theme is Flower Folklore. Families can borrow a backpack filled loaded with everything needed for an outdoor adventure. Discover nature through experiments, stories, games and crafts. The fee for this event is $5 per child and is free for members.
