Volunteers Needed For Community Garden

A Lot to Grow, Inc. is a community garden organization formed with the sole purpose of growing chemical free vegetables and herbs for distribution to local food pantries, soup kitchens, and non- profit senior residences in suburban Essex County, New Jersey. A Lot to Grow is headquartered in Glen Ridge and has six garden sites throughout the county, in Montclair, Glen Ridge and Nutley.

A Lot to Grow is currently looking for volunteers who would like to get their hands in the dirt this summer and contribute to efforts to assist the hungry among us. Volunteers needed to help with garden maintenance, vegetable picking and delivering to local food pantry. A little bit of time goes a long way in helping neighbors. More information about volunteering here; middle school and high school students looking for community service hours are welcome. Email days/times you are available to [email protected]

It's a shame that this happened. Michael Pavel came up with a plan for Charlie Brown's that worked out great and lived up to his presentations. Following it up with this is like a movie director who makes a movie that wins the Best Picture Oscar and follows it up with a film that gets ten Razzie nominations. :(
