It’s Labor Day weekend! If you aren’t taking a last hurrah vacation, or having a BBQ, get out and enjoy the last long weekend of summer at one of these great events.
On Friday night at Trumpet’s Jazz Club and Restaurant in Montclair, the Enrico Granafei Quartet will perform. Granafei has been the owner and musical director of Trumpets since 1999. One of the most respected players of the Chromatic Harmonica in the world today, Granafei continues to cultivate an audience for the instrument through his international performances. As jazz pianist/historian Lewis Porter says: “This could be the start of something big for harmonica players everywhere.”
