The College Women’s Club of Montclair is hosting its renowned semi-annual Used Book & Music Sale starting this Thursday. The club has been holding the event every year since 1934, making it the oldest consecutively running book sale in the country and has awarded over a million dollars in scholarships to girls in Montclair and the surrounding area since its inception.
This is a terrific event featuring thousands of books and paperbacks, LPs, CDs, DVDs, Audio & Video Tapes, Sheet Music, Software, and more. Everything is sold at bargain prices, and all the proceeds go to college scholarship awards for local girls.
The fall sale schedule is:
- November 12 from 9:30 am – 9 pm: $15 admission from 9:30 am – noon / Free from noon ’til 9:00 pm
- November 13 from 9:30 am – 9 pm
- November 14 from 9:30 – 7 pm
- November 15 from 1 pm – 6 pm
