Montclair PD Community Service Unit Announces New Initiative.

Montclair Police Department Community Service Unit

The Montclair Police Department Community Service Unit has announced the “Conversations, Questions, and/or Concerns” initiative.

The first “Conversations, Questions, and/or Concerns” meeting will take place on Monday, February 15 from 11 am – 1 pm at Walnut and Grove Streets.

MPD’s Community Service Unit (CSU) will be stationed at various locations throughout the township to give residents and businesses a place to come and speak to members of the police department in a relaxed atmosphere. MPD says this initiative strives to encourage, and facilitate meaningful dialogue between community members and the police. The MPD Mobile Command Unit will be stationed so people can come inside out of the elements, and engage in conversation. Pamphlets, safety information, and other novelties will be available those that attend.
