Jane Siberry will perform for Outpost in the Burbs, at the Guild Room at The First Congregational Church, on Saturday night and Baristanet has a pair of tickets to give away to one lucky reader!

More than thirty years after her first musical release, Toronto native Jane Siberry is renowned as one of contemporary music’s most creative, innovative artists – with eleven major recordings, her own independent label, and the acclaim of fans and peers alike. Jane Siberry’s songs have been covered by numerous artists, with particular success by k.d lang. She has collaborated with Brian Eno, Peter Gabriel, Emmylou Harris, The Indigo Girls and more. After a successful crowd-funding campaign in early 2014 she is completing the long-awaited album Consider The Lily, her first major recording in six years.

Veteran singer-songwriter and Montclair resident Scott E. Moore will open this show. Scott creates a beautifully unique vibe, melding Americana and Blues through songs and tone that draw you into an another world. He has toured the US with great artists across many genres, works as sideman, plays live at yoga events and composes for film and tv. When not doing that, he’s making his own films and doing gigs in a sultry funk side-band with fellow NY studio ringers, called The Deep Dig.
