Winter Rabies Clinics For Montclair and Cedar Grove

Rabies Clinics

According to the American Humane Society, it’s important to keep your pet’s rabies vaccine up to date. Puppies and kittens should receive their first rabies vaccination at 12 weeks of age. Pets must be vaccinated again in one year, and then a three-year rabies vaccine is generally administered during the rest of your pet’s life.

The Montclair Health Department has scheduled winter 2016 rabies clinics for the dates below:

Cedar Grove: Tuesday, February 16
Cedar Grove Municipal Building, 525 Pompton Avenue, Cedar Grove, NJ
6 – 7:30 pm (Dogs-6-6:45, Cats-6:45-7:30)

Montclair: Monday, February 22
Harrison Avenue Fire Station,151 Harrison Avenue, Montclair, NJ 07042
6 – 7:30 pm (Dogs-6-6:45, Cats-6:45-7:30)

Dogs and cats should not be fed for six hours prior to the rabies vaccination. Each dog and cat must be on a leash or carrier and accompanied by an adult.
