Anna Quindlen

Anna Quindlen will be the featured speaker at Montclair Public Library & Foundation’s next Open Book / Open Mind series on Thursday, April 28. Quindlen will discuss her newest novel, Miller’s Valley with Montclair’s own Elisabeth Egan, books editor for Glamour, journalist, and author of the novel A Window Opens, will be interviewing Ms. Quindlen.

Anna Quindlen is a novelist and journalist whose work has appeared on fiction, nonfiction, and self-help bestseller lists. She is the author of eight novels and won the Pulitzer Prize while a columnist at The New York Times. Quindlen is also one of my favorite writers. If Judy Blume was the voice of my childhood and teen years, Quindlen has been the voice of my adulthood. Her essays on life, parenting, and getting older capture the truths of those experiences. She is insightful, a talented writer, funny, outspoken, and one of my sheroes.

I’m not the only one feels that way, so expect this event to sell out quickly. Reserve your space now!

And we can get this project completed in time for Montclair's sesquicentennial when we can stick a fork into historic preservation as a public policy.
