Incident: Burglary to Auto
Description:
Officer Roberts responded to Watchung Avenue on a report of a party who was entering vehicles. Upon arrival the party had already fled the area. The actor was described as female riding a blue bicycle wearing a blue shirt. This matter is currently under investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact Det. Incident: Fire Dispatch
Description:
Officers responded to 989 Bloomfield Avenue, The Smashburger, on a report of multiple employees who were not feeling well. Through investigation with the Fire Department and PSE&G it was determined that there was a small gas leak inside the building. The Glen Ridge Ambulance Squad responded and evaluated several patients. The building was evacuated and closed for business pending repairs and inspections.

Description:
Det. Ryan Schwartz and Officer Christopher Grogan were dispatched to Mountainside Hospital on a report of a Robbery and Aggravated Assault which took place on Bloomfield Avenue at 0100 hours. Through investigation it was determined that the incident took place in Newark. The victims were treated for their injuries at the hospital and the investigation will be turned over to Newark PD.

Description:
Officer Holley responded to the 100 Block of Ridgewood Avenue for a theft report. The victim reported that an unknown person stole a graduation sign from the front lawn. Incident: Driving Under the influence.
Description:
Officer Michael High responded to the Ridgewood Avenue and Lincoln Avenue for a report of a motor vehicle accident. Upon arriving, the driver of the vehicle was determined to be operating the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. Mr. Jose Rodriguez, 67, of Bloomfield was placed under arrest, transported to police headquarters for processing, summonsed and later released. This matter has been referred to the Glen Ridge Municipal Court.

Description:
The victim reported that he had lost his wallet in the area of Glen Ridge Avenue and Highland Avenue. The wallet was later recovered and it was determined that several items were missing.
