08-24-2016 (Valley Road) Mr. Anthony Catanzaro, 66yoa from East Orange, was arrested on an open warrant out of Montclair ($2,500)
08-27-2016 (Walnut Street) Mr. Steven Dorch, 30yoa from Montclair, was arrested on open warrants out of Newark ($10,000), Bloomfield ($500) and Cranford ($250)
08-28-2016 (Bloomfield Avenue) Mr. Michael Romero, 21yoa from Kearny, was arrested and charged with DWI following a motor vehicle stop.
08-24-2016 (Union Street) Burglary to an apartment. Access was gained by damaging a door. Cash was taken in this incident.
08-24-2016 (Plymouth Street) Theft from a motor vehicle. A bookbag full of books was taken. No sign of forced entry.
08-27-2016 (Church Street) Theft of a cellular phone. A male on a bicycle approached the victim and asked to borrow his phone. When the victim handed over his phone, the suspect rode off with it. The suspect is described as black male, in his early 40’s, approximately 5’1″, thin build, wearing “army/navy” pants, jeans, and a baseball cap.
08-27-2016 (Wheeler Street) Theft of five 40-fool extension ladders from the rear of a residence.
08-28-2016 (Bloomfield Avenue) Theft of a bicycle from the rear of a business. The suspect is described as a black male, medium build, wearing a black baseball hat with white lettering, a brown or black t-shirt, and dark colored pants.
08-28-2016 (Bloomfield Avenue) Theft of a Siri radio transmitter from an unlocked vehicle.
08-26-2016 (William Street) Vandalism to a residence. A brick was thrown through a first floor window.
08-28-2016 (Trinity Place) Officers administered Naloxone to a 51yoa Montclair man who was suffering from a drug overdose. The Officers were successful in reviving the man.
