Sara Martin, a seventh-grader at Buzz Aldrin middle school, has raised close to $400 to help the town’s animal shelter, which was damaged in a fire, by selling her own nature photographs at Sandwich Theory in Upper Montclair.
An avid photographer and animal lover, Sara is also a regular volunteer at the shelter. “I love animals, so it felt like the right thing to do,” she says. She will continue to fundraise with a new photography exhibit at Sandwich Theory, this time to raise awareness about the dangers of puppy mills.
