3Sixty Cycling & Fitness Studio

On December 28, 3Sixty Cycling & Fitness Studio will close after 16 years in Montclair and hand over the keys to Architect Studios.

Mark Cohen opened 3Sixty Cycling & Fitness Studio in Montclair back  in August of 2008 as the first Indoor Cycling Studio in New Jersey. At that time the concept of a boutique studio was essentially a new one and the territories were unchartered. Since then, the studio serviced over 5,000 clients at over 20,000 classes. In addition to helping locals with their fitness goals, 3Sixty also helped the community in other ways by raising over $500,000 for various charities.

Adrienne Felder, founder of Architect Studios will purchase 3Sixty, along with her partner Sarah Reppert, to expand its popular H.I.I.T.(high intensity interval training) fitness studio offerings. A grand opening celebration will take place January 6, 2017 from 6pm to 10pm. The celebration will include a ribbon cutting with Montclair Mayor Robert Jackson, live DJ, refreshments, studio tours and fitness class introductions. The celebration continues all weekend with the first day of classes beginning on January 7, 2017 with a live DJ, giveaways and refreshments.

Architect Studios will expand upon their current HIIT class offerings but stay true to their class structure that is based on the principles of strength, mobility/flexibility and endurance. The new studio layout is designed for those principles with class offerings such as its signature GRIIT(GRoup Intensity Interval Training), strength training including open gym, SPIN, TRX, sport specific training, align, a.flow, ELDOA and personal training.

Cohen, who also wants 3Sixty fans to know that all current passes file will be honored at the new Architect Studios, feels confident that the studio will be successful for old and new clients. “In the time I’ve worked with Architect Studios and my admiration for them has grown exponentially.  Over the years I’ve been approached numerous times about selling the business but was never happy with the prospective buyers and what it would mean for the community at 3Sixty.  I am absolutely convinced that not only will you be in the very best hands with them, and their proven passion for YOU but also I expect Architect Studios to excel and surpass all that we’ve done together at 3Sixty!”

And we can get this project completed in time for Montclair's sesquicentennial when we can stick a fork into historic preservation as a public policy.
