New Jersey Comic Expo will be returning for its second year in Edison at the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center. The expo will be held this November 19th and 20th. If you’re a fan of comics and pop culture, you’ll love this show.

Baristanet has a pair of weekend passes to give away — and with those two passes, 2 kids under 10 are admitted free.

Comic fans of all ages will enjoy all of the features they’ve come to expect at a convention including exhibitors, artists and creators, and exciting guests. Celebrity guests from The Walking Dead and Stranger Things will be on hand for photo ops as well.

This year’s program features many exciting and informative panels including sessions on Stranger Things, The Walking Dead, Marvel Heroes, various topics relating to cosplay, Kubert School at 40, and more. Saturday and Sunday both feature full days of live art with over 20 different artists. There’s also an entire track for creators with a focus on making comics. For the younger fans, there will be a separate area just for kids with its own programming. In addition to all day face painting, kids can create characters and learn about comics.

Be sure to check out the Program Guide for a full schedule of events. Local favorites attending the show include Mark Mariano (The Sakai Project, The Other Side of Hugless Hill, the Moonbeam Award-Winning Flabbergast: Science Friction, Happyloo: Flying Colors) and Paul Castiglia (Archie Comics Writer & Editor, Sonic the Hedgehog, Archie’s Weird Mysteries)

NJCE will be held at the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center, located at 97 Sunfield Avenue in Edison. Tickets are $50 for the weekend and single day passes are available. Each adult ticket provides free admission for two children under 10. Show hours are Saturday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Sunday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Doors open both days at 9:30 AM to advance ticket holders.

Sad. Let's hope that this is not its "Last Tango." One of the most beautiful and iconic buildings in town. Valentino, Garbo, Keaton must have played there.
