Seniors In TaxisMontclair’s Seniors in Taxis (SIT) voucher program for Montclair residents 62 and older has been renewed for another year offering vouchers for reduced fares.

New this year, the vouchers can be used for destinations outside of Montclair. Use the vouchers to attend medical appointments, to grocery shop, or to meet a friend for lunch or a movie. Vouchers can also be purchased as “insurance” in case of car trouble, or if you do not want to worry about finding parking.

Visit or contact the Montclair Health Department on the 3rd floor of the Municipal Building (205 Claremont Ave) to purchase your vouchers and pay $15 for $30 of rides. You will need to provide proof of age and residency.
