New York Red Bulls II To Call Montclair State University Home

New York Red Bulls IIThe New York Red Bulls’ reserve team and defending champions of the United Soccer League, aka New York Red Bulls II, will soon call Montclair State University home. The Red Bulls are making upgrades to MSU Soccer Park and the facility will be ready to go for the USL side beginning on April 1 for their home opener  versus the Richmond Kickers.

In addition to 16 road contests, NYRB II will host 16 home matches in total, 14 will be played at MSU Soccer Park on the campus of Montclair State University. Two additional NYRB II home matches will be played at Red Bull Arena to make it 16 in total as part of the USL season.

In the first phase of upgrades, the seating capacity was increased to 3,500 to meet USL guidelines. Some camera towers and a press box were also built reports In the second phase of improvements, the seating capacity is expected to be increased to 5,000.

    Seriously you think 5,000 people will come by themselves? Not sure about you but people usually go to these things with something called friends or families.
