Open Book/Open Mind: A Conversation with Jacqueline Woodson and Tayari Jones

On Friday, June 16 at 7:00 pm, Jacqueline Woodson will discuss her novel for adults, Another Brooklyn, with acclaimed author Tayari Jones. Ms. Woodson is best known for young adult books Miracle’s Boys, which won the Coretta Scott King Award in 2001, and her Newbery Honor-winning title Brown Girl Dreaming. Ms. Jones’ novels include Leaving Atlanta, The Untelling, and Silver Sparrow, which the NEA added it to its Big Read Library of classics in 2016.
