Annual Pet Adoption Day at Katz & Dogs Animal Hospital

Katz & Dogs Animal Hospital — located at 545 Valley Road, Upper Montclair — will be teaming up with the Montclair Animal Shelter, Homeless Animal Adoption League, PAWS and CPAW for our annual Pet Adoption Day. The event this year will be held on September 16th, between the hours of 12:30 and 4:00pm.

Inquisitive kittens, young adults and spirited seniors alike are all patiently waiting for their forever homes. Age is nothing but a number! All they ask for is a warm home, something to eat, and a cozy lap to curl up on. The mutual love you will share can only be described as priceless.

Katz & Dogs Animal Hospital was certified in 2012 as one of the few practices to have earned the title “Cat Friendly Practice” by the American Association of Feline Practitioners.

Dr. Nancy Katz is passionate about helping homeless pets and hopes to see you there! Do you have room in your heart and your home for a new furbaby?

There will also be an exciting prize raffle! 100% of the proceeds will be evenly divided between the participating rescues and shelters. We have over $4,000 worth of merchandise this year! Some of the larger prizes are an iPad, iPad mini, a 90-minute therapeutic massage, a 90-minute private photo session, a $250 gift card to Capital Grill, and even a NJ Devils hockey jersey signed by Travis Zajac! Gift cards for local merchants total nearly $1,500!

Raffle tickets cost $2 each or 3 tickets for $5. They are available at Katz & Dogs Animal Hospital through October 19th. The drawing will be held on October 20th. Winner need not be present. Tickets will also be sold at our location on the day of our adoption event. We will also have free face painting and even a photo booth with animal props to help celebrate the day! Photo strips are $3 each.

If you love animals, come and help support local rescue groups and shelters, who dedicate their lives and open their hearts to helping homeless animals everyday.

Sad. Let's hope that this is not its "Last Tango." One of the most beautiful and iconic buildings in town. Valentino, Garbo, Keaton must have played there.
