Montclair Crime: Lock Your Vehicles!

The week in crime from D/Lt. David O’Dowd, Montclair Police Department and a message from Montclair Police:

Montclair Police Department reminds all residents to lock their vehicles while unattended.  We also advise against storing valuables in the passenger compartment of vehicles.  We have been experiencing thefts from motor vehicles across the township.  In almost every reported incident, the vehicle targeted had been left unlocked. Also, with the holiday season approaching, residents are urged not to store presents and gifts in their vehicles.  Please contact the Police Department immediately should you observe anything unusual.
