NJ Teachers Convention Camps For Kids!

Looking for something for your kids to do during New Jersey Teacher’s Convention when schools are closed on November 9 & 10?

Why not escape an Egyptian Tomb, build robots, build bridges and tunnels or even solve a mystery? During L3 Academy’s two-day camp, your child can do all that and more. Grades K-6. Hosted at Glen Ridge Congregational Church (195 Ridgewood Avenue, Glen Ridge). $155, 8:30 a.m.- 3 p.m.

Montclair Art Museum offers a two day Studio Art Camp, where kids can paint, draw, collage, sculpt and print using a variety of materials and techniques to create their own original works of art, inspired by those on view in the galleries. $260, 9:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Bass Arts Studio offers a two day camp where kids, age 7-13, can explore the art of the indigenous peoples of Australia and New Zealand and create art inspired by these rich cultures. Pizza included. $225, 9 a.m – 2 p.m.

Montclair’s Y offers Staycation camps on both days, with games, art, language, history, nutrition, physical play, video, free time and so much more. $65 per day for youth members, 7:30 a.m.- 6:30 p.m.
