Grab a bowl of creamy tomato and help fight hunger.

Just in time for the suddenly chilly weather: Starting today and all through November, Raymond’s (in Montclair and Ridgewood) will be donating 25% of all soup sales to Toni’s Kitchen and the Social Service Association of Ridgewood.

Today, Raymond’s in Montclair will be serving creamy tomato with Parmesan frico, croutons, and basil oil as a special; chicken dumpling as well as curried cauliflower soup with saffron currants & diced apples are also on the menu. Upcoming special soups will be French lentil with chives and sour cream; loaded baked potato soup, and roasted parsnip soup.

Sad. Let's hope that this is not its "Last Tango." One of the most beautiful and iconic buildings in town. Valentino, Garbo, Keaton must have played there.
