The holiday exhibit features a wide range of award winning artists that have studied & exhibited in Spain, Armenia, Russia, France and the NY – NJ metro area. Artistic styles range from, realist, impressionistic, surrealist, and modern. The “More Than Figures” exhibit portrays the work of how artists “see” the human form and how diverse they are in other subjects and mediums. Landscape, still life, pen & ink, cartooning and graphics, as well as portraiture and figures show the wide ranges of talent and technical abilities.

During the “Sunday Open Studio” artists gather together for three hours in “Studio C” working independently from a live model with no set schedule of classes. All artists bring their favorite mediums and supplies. There is a $15 fee and open to all artists over the age of 18 yrs.

The “Open Studio” meets from 1pm – 4pm at The Montclair Art Museum, 3 South Mountain Avenue, NJ 07042, every Sunday. All skill levels & mediums welcome.
