Giant Footsteps in Montclair: Victor Cruz Comes For The Bowls; Jason Pierre-Paul Moves In

Two heroes from the football Giants have been seen in Montclair.

Defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul, who played a key role in Big Blue’s Superbowl XLVI win over the New England Patriots, recently bought a house in Montclair.

A first-round draft pick in 2010, Pierre-Paul has 58 sacks during his eight-year career, with the Giants. In July 2015, he lost his right index finger due to a fireworks accident at his home. Pierre-Paul, 29, signed a $62 million contract with the Giants last March.

Another Superbowl XLVI hero– and Paterson, NJ native– Victor Cruz, really likes his smoothie bowls. Cruz has been seen downtown at Playa Bowls and Sweetberry Bowls. Cruz made a splash as an undrafted free agent in 2010 then turned in a memorable year in 2011 which culminated in the Giants winning Superbowl XLVI.
