Braun’s Tavern & Dining Room opens this month in Bloomfield Center, a revival of an early 1900s historic spot – Braun’s Cocktail Tavern & Lounge.

Chef Michael Fiorianti realizes his vision to renew and recapture the character of the former prohibition era space into Braun’s Tavern & Dining Room, a modern-day, chef driven casual neighborhood spot where area residents can gather with friends and family to enjoy a great meal and beverages.

“It has been a great honor to have brought the Satis Bistro brand, which I helped build, to Bloomfield. We are grateful all those who enjoyed and supported Satis Bistro. At this time, we have decided to change our business concept to one that we feel will be better suited to our broader community as we strive to be an everyday destination for guests.” says Chef Fiorianti.

Braun’s Tavern will be a family friendly restaurant and bar where guests can relax and enjoy lunch, dinner, brunch and happy hour seated in the dining room or at the 40-foot-long bar.

Fiorianti says, “Braun’s Cocktail Tavern and Lounge is part of Bloomfield’s rich history dating back to the prohibition era. We hope you will join us at the new Braun’s Tavern and Dining Room, a place for everyone.”

Same problem with Satis. $12 for one egg? Scotch or not. Seriously?
