Montclair High School will host a free forum, “Addiction: Break the Cycle,” a conversation on all aspects of teen substance use and abuse, this Thursday, May 3, 6:30 – 9 pm in the Montclair High School Auditorium. This unique, informative program, created in partnership with New Pathways Counseling, will focus on the common substances affecting our youth today including vapes, marijuana, alcohol, and opiates.

Unlike any another alcohol and drug presentation, the event will feature a high-profile panel including: Master of Ceremonies, former Denver Bronco, Vance Johnson; former Governor of New Jersey, Senator Richard Codey; the former Winston man, David Goerlitz, discussing the vaping epidemic, and many other professional speakers in the field of addiction with a panel discussion to answer questions.

In addition, representatives from 40 treatment providers and local community resources will be on hand before the presentation.
