Eucharia Rose Pilsbury, 90, of Upper Montclair, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, surrounded by family. Pilsbury was the founder, owner and director of Pilsbury Nursery School. A trailblazer in education, Pilsbury transformed an at-home venture into a state-certified nursery school by 1980. She retired in 2014. The school, which continues on, has touched the lives of thousands by serving the Montclair community and surrounding area for decades.

Friends and family are welcome to attend the visitations on Wednesday, July 25 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, July 26 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Hugh M. Moriarty Funeral Home, 76 Park Street Montclair NJ. A mass of Christian burial will be offered on Friday, July 27 at 10 a.m. in Saint Cassian Church, 187 Bellevue Avenue Upper Montclair. Interment Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
