Aging In Montclair invites you to their September Saturday Social on Saturday, September 29 from 2-4pm in the AIM Hub located at 13 Trinity Place in The Salvation Army Building at the “Coffee Booth” on the middle level.
Come and meet old friends and make new ones while enjoying tasty refreshments and interesting conversations.
Educator Bernadette O’Brien, nicknamed “Super Betty”, teaches about practicing T’ai Chi. Bernadette won the Centrum Vitamin contest for “The Most Energized Amazing Woman in America” . She’ll talk about how even in her 80’s she can take advantage of the many benefits of T’ai Chi and how we can too.
According to Bernadette: “ T’ai Chi is beneficial at any age, but it’s a great fit for aging exercisers because it improves balance and enhances cognitive function, and both these outcomes decrease the risk of falls and boost over-all well-being”.
Please park in the garage under the building and enter through the garage elevator. Outside doors are locked on the week-end. Please call 973-707-5088 if you have any questions or need a ride.
