Montclair Crime: Bike Theft, Burglary at Grove Street Residence

Burglary/Theft:

09-12-2018 (Walnut Street Station) A bicycle which had been secured with a cable lock, was stolen sometime during the day.

09-13-2018 (Pine Street) Attempted burglary to a vehicle. The vehicle door showed signs of force, but entry was not gained to the vehicle.

09-15-2018 (Montclair High School) Theft of an unsecured bicycle from the area of the gymnasium.

09-16-2018 (CVS, Valley Road) Theft of numerous personal hygiene items. The suspect is described as an African-American male, medium build, wearing a hooded sweatshirt and shorts.

09-16-2018 (Bellevue Avenue) Theft of small electronics from a parked vehicle.

09-19-2018 (Grove Street) Burglary to a residence. Access was gained through a side window. An Amazon Echo was taken in this incident.

09-17-2018 (Bloomfield Avenue) Theft of two bicycles, which had been secured with a lock, from the rear of a Bloomfield Avenue business. The suspect is described as a thin black male, medium height, approx. 25 years old, with a goatee and mustache.
