Montclair Crime: Shoplifters On South Park Street Make Off With $2500 in Merch

The week in Montclair crime from the Montclair Police Dept:


08/28/2018 (S. Park Street): Four males were observed shoplifting from a S. Park Street business. They fled the store with approximately $2500 worth of merchandise.

08/30/2018 (Valley Rd): A females purse was stolen from her shopping cart at a Valley Road business. The purse contained $200 in cash and credit cards.

08/30/2018 (Willowdale Ave): A bicycle worth approximately $1300 was stolen from a detached garage.

09/01/2018 (Bloomfield Avenue): A wallet containing $90 in cash was stolen from a Bloomfield Avenue business.

09/02/2018 (Bloomfield Avenue): A package containing approximately $210 worth of skin care products was stolen from the common vestibule area of a Bloomfield Avenue business.

08/29/2018 (Walnut St): A locked Trek Mountain bicycle was stolen from the rack at the Walnut Street Train Station.


08/28/2018 (Bloomfield Avenue): The front window pane to a Bloomfield Avenue business was shattered by an unknown subject.

08/30/2018 (Lackawanna Plaza): Graffiti was reported to be spray painted on the wall of a Lackawanna Plaza business.
Recovered Stolen Vehicle:

09/03/2018 (Madison Avenue): A black Nissan Pathfinder reported stolen out of West Orange was located, unoccupied, on Madison Avenue.
