Fourth Ward Councilwoman Renee Baskerville invites the public to celebrate the first annual Hispanic Heritage Month program on Tuesday, October 30, 6:30 p.m. in township Fire Department Headquarters, 1 Pine Street.
“We recognize the contributions made and the important presence of Hispanic and Latino Americans to Montclair,” said Councilwoman Baskerville. “We take this occasion to celebrate their heritage and culture.”
A reception with light refreshments begins at 6:30 p.m. Commendations and recognition of contributions by outstanding Hispanic American individuals will begin at 7:00 p.m. A translator will be available.
The reception will be followed by a regular meeting with a community update and a question/answer period.
