The YMCA of Montclair welcomed three newly elected members to its Board of Directors at its October 2018 Board meeting.
Steve Bloomstein is a Montclair resident, a graduate of Hofstra University and holds an MS, Information and Computer Systems from Johns Hopkins University. Steve is currently a consultant who helps technology and professional services firms transform through operational excellence. Prior to becoming a consultant, he was the Senior Vice President of Operations for Polaris (now IOVIA) and the Senior Vice President of Operations for KORE Software.
John Fromhold is a Verona resident, a graduate of the University of Cincinnati and holds a Masters of Health and Hospital Administration from Xavier University. John is the Chief Executive Officer at HackensackUMC Mountainside. Prior to joining HackensackUMC Mountainside, he was the Chief Operating Officer of Merit Health Systems in Louisville, KY. He is a former member of Big Brothers and Sisters of Arlington TX, a former Board Member of the Arlington, TX Chamber of Commerce and a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Jack Pitts is a Montclair resident, a graduate of Hillsdale College and holds a J.D. from Howard University School of Law. He is a Managing Director of The Blackstone Group L.P. in their Hedge Fund Solutions Group. He is a former Associate in the Investment Management Group of Debevoise & Plimpton L.L.P.
Each will serve a three-year term.
