Joan Juengling, a beloved 28 year old, passed away on November 13, 2018. Born in Paterson, raised in Clifton & Lake Stockholm, resided in Montclair for half of her life. She was a former parishioner and student of St. Philip the Apostle, and a 2008 graduate of Montclair High School. She obtained her medical assistant degree from Eastwick College of Nutley and studied at the The William Esper Studio of Drama in NYC.
Joan had numerous passions with dedication and love to athletics in traveling soccer, softball, cycling and later on skateboarding. Joan competed to 2nd runner up in the 2002 Newark, NJ Preteen Pageant and modeled with Sisters on the Runway, and Model Team participating in TV commercials, magazine and online ads. She lived in Brooklyn, NY for a few years and worked for Bobbi Brown Studio, being featured in books, QVC, and the Today Show. She acted in the play Daymares and Nightdreams at Luna Stage in West Caldwell. Joan was a production assistant on the film crew show “Prospects” (SNY Sports Network) in May and July of this year. She created art pieces and planned to have an art show. She truly lived her life “like a social butterfly” touching so many hearts and enjoyed connecting on so many levels of varied interests. She was in the process of journaling to publish a book. She will always remain near and dear forever in our hearts.

Rossi and Uncle Keith Juengling of Auburn, IN, and Uncle Robert Rossi of Clifton, NJ, and cousin Shannon Juengling. Survivors include her beloved parents Sharon and Richard Juengling, sisters Mary Juengling of Savannah, GA, and Charlene Juengling, Uncles & Aunts Douglas and Lauren Juengling of Woodland Park, Todd and Lynne Juengling of Clifton, Glen and Maureen Juengling of Middletown, NY, Jon and Karen Juengling of Wayne, Scott Juengling of Franklin, TN, Jeff and Theresa Juengling of Franklin, TN, Donald and Joanne Rossi of Oakridge, Carolyn Griffin of Pompton Plains, Cousins: Ryan and Stephanie Juengling and their son Everett, Stacey Juengling, Rick Juengling, Noelle Juengling, Andrew Juengling, Melissa Rossi-Abrams, Veronica Rossi, Joseph Rossi, Colleen Griffin, Ryan Griffin. Numerous beloved Friends.
Visitation is Tuesday, November 20, 1-6 p.m., Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. In Joan’s memory, her family requests that in lieu of flowers, you perform an act of kindness to someone or make a donation to your charity of choice.
