New Year’s Eve Happenings: Dinners, Parties, Fireworks, Music, Masquerade and More!

As another year draws to a close, it’s time to plan how you’ll spend your night! If you’re looking to party, check out one of these New Year’s Eve events happening in the area!

Pig & Prince (1 Lackawanna Plaza, Montclair): Pig & Prince will host New Year’s Eve Mardi Gras Masquerade 2018! Ring in 2019 at this elegant and festive event. Sample the flavors of New Orleans with light refreshments and enjoy the full open bar. There will be live music, dancing and fun! 8:00 PM to 1:30 AM. Tickets are $165.

Laurel & Sage (33 Walnut Street, Montclair): Celebrate New Year’s Eve at Laurel & Sage. They will offer special seasonal 4 and 5 course tasting menus. There are two seatings: 5:45 PM, 6:00 PM, and 6:15 (4 courses, $75) and 8:15 PM, 8:30 PM, and 8:45 PM (5 courses, $100). All reservations are for 2.5 hours. Trumpets Jazz Club & Restaurant (6 Depot Square, Montclair): The New Year’s Eve Gala will be held from 8:00 PM to 1:00 AM. There is one ticket price for the entire evening and no separate tickets for the show only. Ticket includes the show, a four-course meal, champagne toast at midnight, and party favors. Ty Stephens and the SoulJaazz will perform elegantly funky R&B, jazz, and more. Tickets are $125 per person.

Fresco Da Franco (15 Church Street, Montclair): Ring in the New Year with a live DJ and complimentary prosecco before sitting down for a delicious three course pre-fixed dinner menu. Fascino (331 Bloomfield Avenue, Montclair): Choose from the early seating 3-course menu (5:30 PM, 6:00 PM, 6:30 PM, and 7:00 PM) or the late seating 5-course menu (8:00 PM, 8:30 PM, 9:00 PM, 9:30 PM). 3-course menu is $80 per person. 5-course menu is $120 per person. Pharmacie Liquor Bar (398 Bloomfield Avenue, Montclair): Ring in 2019 with a DJ and champagne toast as you watch the ball drop. Celebration begins at 9:00 PM with passed hors d’oeuvres and late-night snacks until 2:00 AM. Tickets are $50 plus cash bar/drink specials.

Montclair Social Club (499 Bloomfield Avenue, Montclair): Ring in 2019 MSC Style! Enjoy a 4-Course Prix Fixe Tasting Dinner & Bubbly with the Incomparable Antar & Friends. Two seatings and two live shows are available. For the first seating, book reservations from 5:45 PM to 6:45 PM. Showtime is approximately 7:25 PM to 8:45 PM. Price is $80 per person. For the second seating, book reservations from 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Show begins approximately 10:00 PM. Price is $95 per person.

The Crosby Montclair (193 Glenridge Avenue, Montclair): Enjoy New Year’s Eve at The Crosby! The fun begins at 9:00 PM with a 3 course menu, open bar, and champagne toast. Cost is $90 per person plus tax; gratuity is included. From 10:00 PM to close, purchase an optional NYE Bar Package from $85. A DJ will provide music beginning at 9:00 PM. The kitchen will be open from 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

The Upstairs at Franklin Steakhouse (238 North Franklin Avenue, Nutley): The New Year’s Eve Gala will feature a raw bar, buffet dinner, Venetian table, champagne toast, premium open bar, live music and dancing from 8:30 PM to 2:00 AM. Tickets are $95.99.

QXT’s Nightclub (248 Mulberry Street, Newark): Enjoy two levels, three bars, and three dance floors at what’s been dubbed “the most inexpensive and quality NYE party in the Tri State Area. Free party hats, tiaras and noisemakers, complimentary champagne toast at midnight, and super drink specials until midnight. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.

The Shannon Rose (98 Kingsland Road, Clifton): This all-inclusive New Year’s Eve Party features a 5-hour premium open bar, four course prix fixe menu, champagne toast, late night snack buffet, live entertainment, and lots of fun. Doors open at 9:00 PM. Seating is first come, first served. Call for reservations. Must be 21+ to enter and valid ID is required. Tickets are $105 per person.

Spirit of New Jersey Fireworks Dinner Cruise (Lincoln Harbor Marina, Weehawken): This three-hour cruise offers amazing views of New York City’s sensational skyline, a delicious dinner buffet, a DJ, dancing and the illuminating fireworks display at the Statue of Liberty. Boarding begins at 9:00 PM and the cruise sails from 10:00 PM to 1:00 AM. Tickets range from $269.90 to $399.90 per person.

46 Lounge (300 US Highway 46 East, Totowa): Party from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM with music by Z-100’s DJ Dramos, DJ Klutch, DJ Freshkid, and DJ A-Mixx playing Top 40, Hi-Energy Dance & Today’s Hits. General admission tickets are $100 per person and include 5-hour premium open bar from 8:00 PM to 1:00 AM, passed hors d’oeuvre and sushi rolls, lavish gourmet buffet dinner, dessert station, party favors, hats and noisemakers, live broadcast of the Ball Drop, champagne toast at midnight, and a continental breakfast at 4:00 AM. Brunswick Zone (679 Washington Avenue, Belleville): Bowling fans can end the year doing what they love! The Nighttime Ball Drop Package features four hours of unlimited bowling (shoes included), food, champagne/sparkling cider toast, unlimited soft drinks, and a $5 arcade card. Cost is $37.99 per person and the event begins at 9:00 PM.
