Search For Man Who Exhibited Suspicious Behavior at Glen Ridge High School

New Jersey State Police Detective Sergeant Dennis Cappello, of the Forensic Photography and Composite Artist Unit, is assisting the Glen Ridge Police Department with identifying a man who exhibited suspicious behavior at Glen Ridge High School.

On Tuesday, January 15, at approximately 7:20 a.m., the man pictured in the composite sketch entered the Glen Ridge High School and began asking staff members suspicious questions. During the conversation, he stated that he recently moved to Glen Ridge. A short time later, he left the property and got into a newer model black Toyota Highlander.

DSG Cappello created a sketch of the man using video surveillance and assistance from a witness. The man is described as a white male, in his early to mid 20’s, thin build, with some facial hair, and glasses.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Sergeant Manley of the Glen Ridge Detective Bureau at 973-748-5400 ext. 115.
