It’s become a don’t miss-tradition in Montclair. Montclair Film throws a party like no other with outrageous musical performances by Stephen Colbert, Patrick Wilson and Warren Zanes. Will Colbert channel David Byrne? Will Patrick Wilson sing Queen or David Bowie?

It’s always a big surprise and an amazing party. This year, at The Glitter Ball: A Dance Floor Celebration Of Soul, R&B, and Funk, there are even more special guests promised and the return of live music from Joe McGinty & the Loser’s Lounge.

Get tickets now — The Glitter Ball takes place on Saturday, March 2, at 8 p.m. at Montclair’s Wellmont Theater. Proceeds from this one-of-a-kind experience will support Montclair Film’s ongoing, year-round film and education programs.

“We’re thrilled to have Stephen back with us and can’t wait for a great night,” says Montclair Film Executive Director Tom Hall. “This show will feature so many great singers and musicians, a great opportunity to dance the night away and support a great cause.”

Joe McGinty & the Loser’s Lounge are a collective of New York City’s finest performers who have been selling out live shows every other month for over 25 years. Founded in 1993 by former Psychedelic Furs keyboardist Joe McGinty, the band continues to canonize the great songwriting catalogues of the ’60s, 70s and ‘80s in its own unique way.
