Montclair Community Forum on Paid Sick Leave, Thursday, April 25

The NJ Department of Labor and Workforce Development, along with local Montclair community partners and the NJ Time to Care Coalition, is holding a free community forum on the new statewide Earned Sick Leave Law, this Thursday, April 25 at 6 p.m., at United Way of Northern New Jersey (60 South Fullerton Ave., Montclair).

Learn about New Jersey’s new Earned Sick Leave Law and much more.

· The forum will include information about other important NJ worker protections and benefits, including minimum wage and overtime laws, and paid family leave.
· NJ Department of Labor will be available to answer one-on-one questions.
· The event is open to the general public.

While the event is not specifically a “train-the-trainer” event, the information being shared would be of interest to social service agency staff (and anyone serving families in any context) and plenty of print materials will be available to take back to agencies.
